Fulham Road Dental CPD event – 10 September 2021
On Friday 10 September Fulham Road Dental (“FRD”) held its second Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) event for dentists. As with other events the evening took the format of a presentation by Dr. Risha Patel followed by snacks and refreshments that provided an opportunity for dentists to network, share experiences and grow their dental community network.
Risha is a FRD’s specialist endodontist and provides endodontic treatment of complex cases on a referral basis. The topic of the evening was titled:
“2D or 3D: Changing the diagnostic game”
Risha’s presentation covered the following areas:
- Discuss how to optimise current 2D imaging in daily practice
- Consider the indications and limitations for 3D imaging using case-based examples
- Understand when, where and how to refer for further imaging
The evening at Fulham Road Dental proved to be a huge successful and similar to previous events we had to cap the attendees at 20. There was lots of engagement amongst all those there as they discussed the various case studies that Risha presented.
In a continued attempt to support the local business community the food for the evening was supplied by the Brooklyn Pizza Crew. Our attendees raved about the quality of the pizza and we will definitely be using them again for a future CPD event.
The wine was provided by Lea & Sandeman Wine Merchants, a local wine merchant. Lea & Sandeman have been regular supporters of FRD. As usual the wine supplied was of an extremely high quality and enjoyed by everyone in good volume.
Each attendee was given a CPD certificate that entitles them to earn CPD credits which counts towards their annual requirement. FRD plans to host the CPD events on a regular basis going forward as a way of continuing to share experiences with the broader dental community whilst providing opportunities for clinicians to network and earn their required CPD credits.
